Left Alliance presidential candidate Li Andersson said she would invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to sauna with, but only to lock him in until the Jewish man agrees to negotiate a ceasefire with the Islamist terrorist organisation Hamas in Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, Israel has consistently offered Hamas a ceasefire in exchange for the release of more than 100 Israeli hostages who are still missing. Hamas has consistently refused any form of cooperation.1
Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh has recently exclusively told Egypt that he rejects any kind of ceasefire regarding the war and declared that all of Israel must be given to them, as well as all Jews removed from the area.2
Egypt and Qatar are trying to be negotiators between Hamas and Israel. Hamas has refused all Israeli conditions for the release of hostages.3
